Come and spend the day in the expert hands of Bechstein’s top concert technician Torben Garlin, Concert &Institutional Service Director.
This year, Torben will focus on the upright piano range by C. Bechstein which also includes pianos by W. Hoffmann and Zimmerman. He will guide us through tuning techniques, toning and regulation. We will explore the optimal piano sound quality and the range of preparation possibilities for a greater understanding of the sound and touch of the Bechstein instruments.
